Inner Listening ...
In moments of low feelings, it's natural to attribute our overwhelm or longing to external circumstances. If we objectively view these feelings with interest as they manifest in our bodies—not what we think they represent, but what they actually are, as if they were a way our bodies try to communicate with our awareness—we gradually create the opportunity to view them differently. This process requires practice, commitment, and, most importantly, the comforting presence of loving friends who, without words, convey, 'I'm here. It's okay’.
