Somatic Touch Sessions

A new element to the Somatic Mindfulness (SM) workshop experience is now available. In selected cities, workshop participants (or therapists curious about the work) can fully immerse themselves by receiving a somatic touch session firsthand, discovering what a full SM session can feel like.

At the heart of Somatic Mindfulness lies a profound principle: the method is not about delivering a standardized session, but about inviting each therapist to cultivate and express their own unique voice. As therapists deepen their understanding and embodiment of SM, they naturally shape the practice in ways that are authentic to their own experience and insight.

This means that every SM session is inherently different, not simply because it is offered by different people, but because the spirit of SM encourages therapists to bring their personal interpretation, intuition, and presence into each session. The somatic touch session you receive will be a unique expression of the individual offering it, reflecting their own approach and presence, and creating a one-of-a-kind experience tailored just for you.

This session is designed for those seeking extra support in integrating SM into their existing practice. Whether you experience a session yourself or participate with your client in a tutorial setting, the session you receive will not be a fixed “SM standard,” but rather a unique expression of the therapist’s understanding and embodiment of the SM approach. Our goal is to help you develop your own authentic voice and deepen your personal expression of Somatic Mindfulness.
